Responsibilities

Senior Revenue Cycle and Reporting Analyst

Overview

We are hiring a Senior Revenue Cycle and Reporting Analyst to join our team. This position reports directly to the project manager. The main tasks of this position include assisting the project manager with operational project management, conducting detailed claiming analysis, and performing operational project management reporting functions for the project. You will work alongside project team members and software engineers, as necessary. This will include the creation and publication of monthly performance dashboards for internal management and for client reporting.

A strong understanding of the systems and processes that are utilized in claim processing operations are required for this position. Job responsibilities will include business process documentation and analysis, creating new and enhancing existing policies and procedures, performing user acceptance testing on new system enhancements, maintaining production schedules, and providing on-going project results reporting to senior management with insightful interpretation of results in a standardized format. Other activities needed to support the project manager will also be assigned.

A successful candidate must have 5 to 10 years of relevant healthcare claiming and revenue cycle management experience, have a natural analytical way of thinking, be able to work remotely meeting goals with little supervision, is detail oriented, and have excellent oral and written communication skills that allows you to be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Management and Supervision

  • Conducting meetings and presentation to share ideas and findings
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users
  • Managing competing resources and priorities
  • Work closely with project manager to ensure timely completion of deliverables, monthly reporting, and process improvements

Client Management and Support

  • Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff
  • Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff
  • Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements

Results Reporting and Analysis

  • Analyze end user claiming and auditing report outcomes, create and maintain dashboard and monthly reports for external and internal clients
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts and performance of the overall operation
  • Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholder and producing useful reports

System Maintenance and Enhancements

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Performing requirement analysis
  • Perform user acceptance testing

Administrative

  • Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance
  • Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures and policies and procedures
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Complete monthly invoices, reports, and other project management deliverables on behalf of project manager for submission to internal management and client contact



Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 5 to 10 plus years of experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis or related field

Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills

Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions

Advanced technical skills

Excellent documentation skills

Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

Competency in Microsoft applications include Word, Excel, and Outlook

Use and understanding of Teams, SharePoint, and Smartsheet a plus

A track record of following through on commitments
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
Experience in working with top performing teams with a desire to grow into a lead and development position
