Responsibilities

PCG is currently seeking a Project Manager for our Austin, TX office. With a growing presence in Texas, our goal is to provide superior service to school districts across the state in the area of Special Education, Educator Professional Development and other K-12-based program needs. For the right, motivated individual, there is an excellent opportunity for career development and advancement. This position will play a key role in the ongoing support of our existing clients and software solutions. This role will primarily focus on supporting our EdPlan software platform, client management, and assisting with operational strategies in our work with Texas school districts.

Specific Responsibilities:

PCG will provide the new Project Manager with a comprehensive, challenging training plan to ensure:

  • Within first 30 days, understand and articulate PCG’s existing clients in Texas and available services within Special Education and become familiar with our EDPlan software platform
  • Within 60 days, understand the framework for client support and growth as set forth by Supervisors and Managers, and attend client meetings
  • Within 90 days, ability to confidently lead existing and prospective client engagements, proposal development activities, and provide local support to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for EDPlan

After the implementation of a successful training plan, the Project Manager can expect to focus on project management, client support, and product management:

  • Oversees and coordinates multiple engagements across the team to ensure client deliverables are met in a timely manner
  • Provides high quality project management and client support, specifically around modifications requests, bug resolution, and using the data/reporting tools of EDPlan
  • Investigates and analyzes prospective client operational processes, provides recommended solutions, manages implementation, and provides ongoing maintenance and support to clients
  • Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to improve our services
  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control risks
  • Serve as a liaison between local and technical team to increase the efficiency of our development cycles
  • Design client modification requests and use project management tools to support our product development
  • Coordinates and monitors proposal responses/solicitations and ensures on-time, complete delivery of proposals
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with new and existing clients, as assigned
  • Coordinate teams to prepare for written status reports and materials for new clients; present status reports in client meetings.
  • Lead clients through implementation for our web-based technologies and other services
  • Other responsibilities as necessary will make up the remaining 20%

 Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required;
  • 5+ years of related experience with proven ability to help lead a multidisciplinary team and drive client satisfaction and growth
  • School system experience in the areas of professional development, special education, and data management systems is a plus
  • Software implementation experience is a plus
  • Experience with JIRA and Axure is a plus
