This is a part-time position (20-25 hours/week) with a performance based bonus schedule.

  • Actively pursues new relationships with property managers/owners in the San Diego area and establishes new relationships with those willing to participate in the program
  • Conducts outreach to San Diego area property managers/owners using a variety of methods, including networking, internet and social media, cold calling, and attending relevant events
  • Develops innovative ways to market the organization’s housing services and identify and conduct outreach to property owners
  • Understands the rental housing market, with emphasis on affordable housing, leases and tenant rights and responsibilities
  • Partners with Program Manager and Supervisors to effectively expand the organization’s existing housing partner database, and identify and communicate the most viable and affordable properties
  • Pursues monthly and quarterly goals. Reports on performance, demonstrates stakeholder engagement, new account generation, health/status of current accounts, and resource utilization
  • Fulfill other project related duties as assigned


Required Skills:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to occasionally attend collaborative meetings or property viewings outside of normal business hours
  • Self-Motivated, goal-driven, organized, and works with urgency
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Persuasive and collaborative
  • Knowledge of Housing/Rental industry experience
  • Bilingual
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Required Experience:


Bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant skills and experience will may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.


1- 3 years of outside sales (experience selling services is a plus)
